Mission & Strategy.

The mission of BestWeb Atlanta is to design, develop, deliver, promote, and maintain high-end web sites at reasonable prices and to create and maintain win-win relationships with all of our clients. We design and create polished, dynamic web sites relatively quickly and at rates that tend to be a bargain when compared to the rates charged by large firms with excessive overhead. Our clients rank very highly in the results of major search engines such as Google, if they so desire.

We consistently deliver high-quality web design work and web development work for less because our clients do not subsidize office space, lavish marketing brochures, exorbitant salaries, or even desks (we use folding tables). None of us have new cars or require high-maintenance lifestyles.

One strategy that has served BWA well over the years is to treat all of our clients with the respect they deserve, and to avoid the pitfall of dispensing our goodwill based on the size of the client's web development budget. We don't shrug off the small, shoestring-budgeted startups, sole proprietorships, and non-profit organizations; on the contrary, we enjoy having them as clients. As has often occured, the work we have done for some of our smaller clients has transformed their organizations into online marketing machines, and within a year or two, viola -- they have wisely increased the size of their web budgets.

A second strategy in keeping our overhead costs to a minimum is our reliance upon word-of-mouth advertising. We believe word-of-mouth advertising is the best kind there is, and the fact that this has help to sustain BestWeb Atlanta through difficult times really says something about the quality of our work and our relationships with clients. It also keeps advertising expenses to a bare minimum, savings which is passed directly to our clients.

Our primary strategy since early 2004 has been to extend beyond web design and development and perform extensive research in the area of website promotion search engine optimization (SEO): what does it take to rank highly on the major search engines for the relevant keywords? After a few weeks of hard work, we broke into the coveted top ten Google rankings for our key phrases, and we have been at either number one, two, or three ever since. It was not easy to get there, and staying there requires lots of work; however, it is easier to maintain a position near the top than it is to claw your way there in the first place. The longer organizations wait to start their SEO programs, the harder it will be for them to reach their desired rankings because competition is increasing on a daily -- no, hourly -- basis!
